Ryker’s Revenge

Ryker’s Revenge should be released this week. It’s the sequel to the Healer.

I’m excited this week for two reasons. First, Ryker’s Revenge the sequel to Healer is being released. This is Gunnar’s story and like Armond, he’s on a path of self-discovery. He doesn’t always make the right choices and digs himself a mess that only he can climb out of. My editor told me the story made her cry three times. Yes, I’ve got some tear jerky scenes in this one along with some action fighting. Of course, Rusty would say I’m being a wuss. Yes, Rusty’s back too.

My second excitement is that I’m finally done with my master’s program from Regis University and will be graduating this weekend. This is actually the fourth time I’ve walked in a graduating line: once with high school, then undergraduate school and then graduate (My Master of Social Work). It’s been three and half years. Yes, I took my time. I wasn’t going to walk, but my family and friends told me I had to because it’s a great accomplishment. It is a great accomplishment and now that its settling in that I’m finished, I’m glad I listened to them.

I feel like Regis gave me the foundations to writing, but I’m not done, not by a long shot. Writing like social work is always changing and I still have alot to learn.

Any big news with you?

  1. Congratulations, Mary.
My news is that I’ve finished and edited my 90K Romantic Suspense. I’m now taking a class on writing a synopsis and query letter, but it doesn’t stop there. I’ve started book two of this trilogy.
    Happy days,
    Kay
